Recent Parasuicide Trends in Denmark, Federal Republic of Germany, The Netherlands and Scotland

This study attempted to obtain comparative data on trends in attempted suicide in several European countries. The study met with very limited success & the reasons are detailed. Some findings are presented & a conservative conclusion is that attempted suicide is predominantly a problem of adolescence & young adulthood. (8 Refs) (LH)
