This article describes a system-wide plan to aid schools in dealing with adolescent suicide. The plan, which was developed by a community committee, involves an immediate response to the crisis as well as stabilizing follow-up procedures. The discussion includes information on reacting to the crisis, a 4-day response plan, intervention suggestions, & prevention strategies.
