Thought Processes of the Suicidal Person (IN: Suicide: The Gamble With Death, by Gene Lester and David Lester)
Lester G~~Lester D
Disordered logic & altered conceptualization of material are distortions of the thought process that have been studied by suicidologists. Paralogical errors and dichotomous, rigid or ambiguous thought on the part of the suicidal person are discussed. It seems probable that disordered thinking in the suicidal person is a matter of distortion of ideas rather than logic. (LH)
