A number of behavioural areas related to suicide are examined. They include: suicidal types, impulsiveness, attitudes toward death, hope, self concept, presuicidal mood, reaction to crises, Machiavellianism, sleep habits, intelligence & psychological tests. The authors conclude by characterizing the suicidal person as rigid & inflexible with a negative view of self, lacking in hope, manipulative & intelligent. 20 Ref. (LH)
