Services provided under the Outreach Umbrella, a community service, are described. On 24 hour availability are: Information and Assistance Services, a Crisis Contact, Psychiatric consultation and Student Intervention Services or SIS. The 5 components of the SIS program are: Prevention, Early Identification, Intervention, Therapy/Treatment & Reentry/Support/Aftercare. The role of the Student Intervention Counselor within the components of the SIS program is deliniated.
