This study was designed to investigate whether, among those patients who made multiple suicide attempts with one or more of the attempts being of a serious lethal nature, there was a pattern of increasingly lethal suicide attempts. The sample of 103 subjects had made at least 2 suicide attempts, one or more of which was seriously lethal. Results indicate different trends among males & females at different ages.
