Blood samples of cadavers were analyzed for testosterone. A significant difference showed between the mean hormone levels of the suicides & the sudden death group, which is consistent with the assertion that this may be a common physiological variable in sexually related suicides. Results, however, were inconclusive & ambiguous & it is suggested that a 3rd group of accidental death victims would have made the study more specific. (LH)
