Collected Thoughts of a Suicidologist (IN: Identifying Suicidal Potential, ed. by D B Anderson and L J McLean)
Bogard H M
Presents a brief discussion of the multi-determined nature of suicidal behavior & emphasizes that although many intrapsychic forces lead to a suicidal resolution, it is always external forces which supply the trigger. The author suggests that suicidal crises can be sucessfully managed with minimal theory & much human love, concern & care, since the nature of intrapsychic conflicts transcends racial, cultural, social & national boundaries.
