This review of school suicide prevention examines effective, innovative & problematic parts of such programs. Arguments in favour of these programs are discussed, as are the difficulties in evaluating prevention programs. Sample programs are compared using criteria adapted from the American Association of Suicidology. A table of key information about suicide & prevention is included. (LH)
