Kosky R~~Silburn S~~Zubrick S
Describes a comparison study of 481 children who exhibited symptomatic depression and 147 children who exhibited symptomatic depression and suicidal ideas. Suicidal ideation was associated with hostile intrafamilial relationship. Ideation was associated with age in girls but loss was associated with depression rather than ideation. No specific psychiatric, emotional or conduct disorder symptoms were found to differentiate the 2 groups. (DLD).
