Procedures for Identifying and Describing Adolescents With Suicide Ideation (Micro HV 6548 U52 C64 1983)

This study was designed to identify & assess suicidal ideation in adolescents. Students in a school setting completed the 28-item questionnaire YOU & DEATH (RAF). Selected students assessed as either high or low risk by this questionnaire were referred to trained counsellors for follow-up clinical assessment of positive or negative ideation. Counsellors did not have knowledge of RAF scores. Results indicated 90% variables were significantly related to positive & negative clinical assessment.
