The decision to let a 41 year old female patient with meningitis die if her heart or lungs fail is disputed by a self styled nursing reformer, Jane Hoyt, who insists the patient is improving. Hoyt obtained a restraining order directing the hospital to resuscitate the patient if necessary. (NBB)
