This paper discusses 3 main differences between the Saulteaux-Ojibway & the white cultures: the sharing of all property in the case of these Indians, their attitude to time as open-ended, their attitude to anger, which must not be shown. These concepts may be summed up as a constant effort to avoid hurting the feelings of others. Few other cultures are as deeply divergent from that of whites & yet so exposed to it.
