The Suicide Bill poses certain problems for police who have been accustomed to laying criminal charges in attempted suicide. Reviewed are the guiding principles of the past & offers suggestions for future action when the Act becomes law. The practice in the following other countries is presented: France, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Norway, & India.
