Self Genocide-Suicide

These two brief articles appeared in the late winter issue of Akwesasne notes. The first concerns suicide among residents of the Duck Valley Reservation in Nevada. Most died of gunshot wounds; most were male. The second article concerns native groups in south Tucson, Arizona, who are organizing to help intervene & to remedy conditions leading to suicides. (NBB)
