This study tests the theory that the way a suicidal person responds in the course of an intervention predicts how he will resolve his difficulties. A scale developed to evaluate this process was used in 220 ratings, which showed exact equivalence in 51% & partial divergence in 47%, when interrater reliabilities were studied.
