Suicide Prevention and the Delivery of Crisis Services for Locally Incarcerated Prisoners: The Content and Structure of a Model Program for Jails and Lockups

The local forensic suicide prevention crisis service project was organized by state corrections & mental health departments to reduce suicidal death among inmates of local jails & police lock-ups. Phase I of the program, Assessment & Planning, was completed by Dec. 31/84, & the 12 month implementation & evaluation phase will conclude in 1986.
