Smith S K R
This descriptive study attempts to determine attitudes about death in a sample (n=220) of child development majors from 2 Texas universities. 2 areas were investigated: (1) the relationship between religion & attitude toward death, suicide, belief in afterlife, donation of organs & disposition of body (2) differences between the responses of this group & the “psychology today” national sample. Schneidman’s “You & Death” questionnaire was used. Significant differences in responses are discussed.
