A questionnaire was used to investigate the amount of suicidal ideation in a sample of university students (n=294) & 2 control groups (n=149) from the general public. 55% of students & 45% of the control groups admitted to some suicidal ideation in their lifetime. Among the student group, females showed significantly more ideation than males. This difference was not significant in the control group. Foreign-born students were among the most severe ideators. 10 ref. (NBB)
