In a Letter to the Editor of the American Journal of Psychiatry, (August 1984), Nathan & Rousch concur with the statements made by Drs Breier & Astrachan that demographic data & other commonly acccepted predictors of suicide are unreliable when applied to a mentally ill clinic population such as schizophrenics.
