Plante T G~~Davids A
48 active & inactive Samaritan suicide prevention volunteers & 22 trainees were utilized to determine the personality & biographical characteristics that typify successful Samaritan crisis interventions volunteers. Performance ratings were obtained. Utilizing the Activity Vector Analysis (AVA, Form D), PS 1595 surfaced as a useful personality profile that significantly distinguished the above average performers from the average/below-average performers.
