The archetypal themes activated by the stimuli contained in Rorschach plates exposed the inner psychic struggle of a 27-year-old male who subsequently attempted suicide. The lethal suicide attempt originated from the psychic tension between the ego structure & its relationship with figures of the unconscious, &, therefore, contained the paradoxical quality of destruction/liberation of the ego personality.
