Crisis Interventionists and Death Awareness: An Exercise for Training in Suicide Prevention

Responses to questions designed to elicit death anxiety indicated that while most subjects preferred to be with family & friends if death was expected, more males than females would prefer to spend their remaining time in solitude. Subjects were students enrolled in a crisis intervention course (N=68) & policemen (N=25) enrolled in a family crisis intervention program. NBB
