This paper relates the circumstances surrounding a case of homicide followed by suicide. A middle-aged school teacher with a history of mental illness brutally murdered his wife & 2 children. In retrospect, there appear to have been many warning signals that the murderer/victim was increasingly unable to control his compulsive behavior.
