The medical treatment of a 50-year-old male who ingested 100 tablets of digoxin 0.25 mg in a suicide attempt is described. The patient recovered fully from this massive overdose, justifying a review of therapeutic treatment available particularly with regard to magnesium therapy & first pacing. (NBB)
