Recognizing that suicides have different purposes & motives, we search for evidence to help us understand the meaning of each suicide. Consistently, the dreams of persons at high risk for suicide present images of being trapped & helpless, or images of impending dissolution of the self, or images of attaining freedom through merging with representations of death as peace & healing power.
