The author presents an analysis of 10 mainly psychological categories encountered in his psychiatric or mental health treatment of the aged. Categories dealt with are: feelings of loneliness, feelings of boredom, failed life, feelings of guilt, life weariness, anxiety of advancing age, fear of dying, fear of death, faith in the afterlife, sense of life. Through interviews of 64 elderly he determined their understanding of these concerns.(NBB)
