This study is continuation of Kapamadzija’s research (1977). The authors studied 200 attempted suicides, drawing from that sample a sub-population of 61 alcoholics. These 2 sub-groups were compared using 12 demographic variables. Statistical results indicated the profile of the alcoholic was closer to that of the completed suicide rather than the attempted suicide where they were placed due to the non-fatality of their act.(NBB)
