The author describes a program developed by the Dayton Suicide Prevention Centre in response to a request from a school where there has been 5 suicide deaths in an 18 month period.The basic components are briefly described & include: planning; assemblies; meetings with staff & parents; the development of processes; special events; & community involvement.(NBB)
