Patient, therapist, & treatment variables were related to unilateral termination & length of stay in a retrospective study of 102 adolescents accepted for psychoanalytically oriented individual psychotherapy at an adolescent outpatient clinic. Clinical recommendations drawn from the findings are discussed.
