This article contains a case history of the completed suicide of a 14-year old male. The effect of this suicide on family members is explored. Also included is an interview with suicidologist Pamela Cantor, covering aspects of adolescent suicide & listing suicide warning signs. The article concludes with a discussion of the television film “Surviving”, & assesses the worth of this film in disseminating knowledge about suicide.(NBB)
