The author examines the data & research metghodology used by Cumming, Lazar & Chisholm in their study of suicide among females in the province of British Columbia. He cites errors in use of data & in their use of regression analysis. Orstein re-interprets this data & draws conclusions about the impact of marital status, age & employment on female suicide that differ somewhat from those of the original study.(NBB)
