Abstract
Suicidal Behavior and Childhood Onychophagia in Hospitalized Psychiatric Veterans
Lee S H~~Weinlander M M
This investigation of adult suicidal behavior & childhood onychophagia among 280 hospitalized psychiatric male veterans suggests that for only personality disorders does childhood nononychophagia show a significant relationship to adult nonsuicidal behavior. Otherwise, this study indicates that the presence or absence of childhood nononychophagia is not a significant suicidal or nonsuicidal factor among these veterans with a psychotic, neurotic, personality disorder classification.
