The author proposes a theory for rather suddenly executed suicidal acts (fatal, impulsive, not directly communicated to others). Four necessary elements have to reach a threshold befor suicide is attempted: heightened inimicality(selfdestructiveness), exacerbation of perturbation, tunnel-vision, the idea of cessation. Treatment consists of reduction of inimicality and perturbation. A case example is provided.(RA)
