This study reports on the results of a survey of 192 patients admitted to the Thomson Road General Hospital in Singapore after a suicide attempt. The study period was 1967-1969. Results are reported by age, gender, ethnicity, marital, educational, & occupational status, previous health & child-bearing, causes & precipitating factors, methods, time & place of attempt, & psychiatric illness.
