This brief description of a workshop concerning the care of the caregivers deals with strategies for self-care when working professionally with suicidal patients. Discussed are dilemmas of the caregiver, improving self-care, & barriers to care for the caregiver. Two practitioners discuss their views on dealing with suicidal individuals.
