This paper attempts to overcome inconsistencies in the findings from studies on seasonal variations in suicide & homicide. The findings showed significant seasonal variations for both suicide & homicide. The national (US) pattern for suicide was above average all spring & below average all winter. The homicide pattern was found to be less associated with seasons & more a monthly phenomonom. Peak times for homicide were July-September & December.
