Examined the feasibility of group work with suicidal outpatient adolescents. 2 clinics collaborated to provide a group with goals of providing a supplemental support network, teaching strategies & skills to deal with stress, increasing self-esteem, teaching supportive techniques, & allowing ways of handling dysphoria to develop. The essence of the group, which seemed to have a positive effect, was to create a substitute family & to support realistic individual strivings. (RM)
