This paper reviews the issue of child & adolescent suicide. The author strongly urges that suicidal attempts should not be covered up, but treated as serious danger signals. He also discusses the nature of child suicide, for example, the lack of premeditation. He outlines childrens’ ideas of death, & the importance of healthy early development on later behavior. The methods & motivations used by children are also depicted. (VM)
