Personality correlates of Ss indicating suicidal intent have been found to be different from those of normals in direction indicative of possible psychopathology. To test the cross-cultural relevance of this hypothesis, 3 samples of male & female students were administered the Eysenck’s extraversion, neuroticism, & psychoticism inventory. Results suggest that personality correlates of suicidal tendency are rather similar despite differences in age & cultural background. (3 ref.)
