Alcoholism II: Sex, Socioeconomic Status and Race in Two Hospitalized Samples

Significant differences by race, sex and type of hospital (private and public) were found in diagnosis, drinking patterns, mental and physical disorders, social background, suicide attempts, arrest history and age at admission of 259 alcoholics.
