Data is provided on intertribal similarities & differences in suicidal behavior. Concentration of suicide among the young & intratribal group heterogenity with respect to suicide, suicide methods & alcohol involvement are noted. The implications of obtaining data from single official sources with respect to tribes & reservations is explored. Neglected areas of study & the need for more precise data to facilitate prevention are identified. (MB)
