On Suicides Committed Under the Influence of Alcohol in Finland in 1967

Of 933 suicides in Finland in 1967 alcohol was present in 141. Of these alcohol related suicides the male rates were higher than female. The study also gave indications that compared to passive forms of suicide, active & impulsive suicides involve somewhat higher blood-alcohol levels.
