This study was conducted to test claims that psychiatric hospital admissions & suicides were related to geomagnetic storms. Data taken from 1959-61. Correlations between 7 related indices of geomagnetic activity were computed with the 2497 suicides & 2017 homicides which occurred in Texas. It is concluded that geomagnetic fluctuations do not influence psychiatric hospital admissions, suicides, or homicides. (31 ref)
