Abstract
The School Guidance Counselor as a Preventive Agent to Self-Destructive Behavior
Frederick C J
Suicidal behavior among children frequently reveals that they tend to imitate the behavior of loved ones who have died. Death seems to represent the chance for reunion with the loved one. Parents who reject or abuse their children can cause self-destructive behavior. A list of 14 symptoms to look for are given as well as 10 “psychological first-aid” suggestions. (GW)
