Previous research indicates there may be a relationship between depressive disorder & premenstrual symptoms. This paper reports observations made in a study of premenstrual symptoms in women calling a suicide prevention centre. It was found that increased mood often coincides with these calls. It is suggested that bipolar premenstrual symptoms may be found to exist more often than is suspected. (MRE)
