In an attempt to replicate previous findings in which response to D6 on Card 7 of the Rorschach was found to differentiate suicidal from nonsuicidal schizophrenic patients,Rorschach records of 14 suicidal and 14 nonsuicidal schizophrenic patients were searched for specific response to D6 on Card 7. Analyses by means of X2 showed no significant differences between groups in frequency of response to this area. Response to this area was not found to be a predictor of suicidal ideation.
