This philosophical thought-piece takes as its focus the question: is suicidology absurd? This question is examined from perspectives on death from the past as well as possibilities in the future. Taking a systems viewpoint, the author concludes that suicidology could increase our options and emphasize the interdependence of human beings.(WAL)
