This paper is an exploratory study which inspects the influence of several dimensions of striking behavior on selected suicide rates in a sample of 31 nations. As anticipated, the size of strikes decreases the rate of male suicide through increasing the rate of interaction & the strength of collective sentiments. Strike duration & strike volume decrease female suicide through increasing the functional importance of women.
