Article identifies common causes of suicide among teens which include abnormal stress, social isolation, sense of personal inadequacy, and feelings of utter hopelessness. Author suggests support of teens when in acute difficulty. Helpful to show respect, enter into active discussion with, and listen to teens’ points of view.
